About Lev Tziyon Pacific
Lev Tziyon Pacific is a pro-Israel publication sharing Israel’s people, stories and ideas with readers across the Pacific.
Based in Papua New Guinea, we bring a Pacific perspective to subjects ranging from everyday life and culture to technology, agriculture, water and international relationships. We explore what these stories mean for our region and the opportunities they offer for greater understanding and friendship.
People are at the heart of what we want to share. Behind the headlines are families, communities, challenges and achievements. We want to help readers get to know the people who live these stories.
Faith also has a place here. Our faith reflections draw on a Messianic perspective centred on Yeshua. Our wider reporting explores Israel’s society and its connections with the world, welcoming readers from religious and secular backgrounds.
We support Israel’s right to exist and the Jewish people’s right to self-determination. That perspective comes with a responsibility to report carefully, acknowledge complexity and treat people with dignity.
Our editorial approach is straightforward: use credible sources, provide helpful context and distinguish reported facts from opinion and faith interpretation.
The Meaning Behind Our Name
Lev Tziyon means “Heart of Zion” in Hebrew.
For us, the name expresses our connection with Israel and its people.
Pacific reflects the communities we write for and the perspective we bring. We are based in Papua New Guinea, with an outlook that reaches across the Pacific.
Together, Lev Tziyon Pacific expresses our purpose: helping people across our region discover, understand and connect with Israel.
